Book Discussion Groups

Book discussion groups are a great way to connect with others, talk about or learn more about what you are reading, or to try reading something different.

The Sci-Fi Book Discussion Group meets on the first Thursday of each month to discuss a work of science fiction or fantasy. We have informal discussions in a friendly atmosphere. The group selects the list of titles and where to meet. We read everything from hard science fiction to fantasy, traditional formats to graphic novels, and occasionally even watch a film adaptation for comparison. Direct questions to Gregg Wamsley or Steve Westfahl.

November 1, 7:00 pm Auditorium.

We will discuss MAKE ROOM! MAKE ROOM! by Harry Harrison.  This book inspired the movie Soylent Green.  Watch Soylent Green, have popcorn, and have ready-to-drink Soylent!
