Have you seen ‘nailed it’ on Netflix? Come try to nail our library Thanksgiving Feast Cake Challenge!  We’ll provide the inspiration design and you try to reproduce it better than your competitors. All supplies will be provided, no baking necessary.  Compete as a child, adult or family! REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED SO WE CAN PROVIDE THE RIGHT AMOUNT OF SUPPLIES.  To register, online, please follow this link:  Nailed It! Doors open at 6:45 for a Storytime after the library is closed.  Get in the spooky spirit with short stories, a puppet play, and a spooky walk through the stacks. Recommended age 12 and under 

November 10, 2:00 - 5:00 pm
Play with a variety of board games and video games for teens and adults in the auditorium, and board games for children and families in the children’s activity room. We will have snacks too!

Recommended ages 3 - 5, accompanied by a parent/caregiver who also participates.  This new program is designed to enhance literacy, social, and motor development skills for young learners. Children and their parent/caregiver will engage together in a mix of stories, songs, rhymes, followed by investigative play and sensory activities.

LEGOS® @ the Library
First Saturday of every month
10:00 am - 12:00 pm
Children can learn several skills when working with LEGO blocks, including planning, creativity, problem solving and having fun!  Plan on the first Saturday of every month where we dump thousands of LEGO blocks on the floor and let the kids build and play.

Read to Rover
Second Thursday of Every Month
6:00 pm - 7:00 pm
Studies show that children gain confidence when reading to dogs.  Whether your child is a pre-reader, just learning to read, or is a proficient reader, they will enjoy this fun program.  When readers get three punches on their punch card, they get a free book!  

E.L.F. Center (Early Literacy Fun)
Located in the Children’s area, the E.L.F. Center has toys, games, board books and parenting books to help parents and caregivers teach early literacy through play!
